10 great activities in Singapore for the night owls

You’ve seen Singapore in all her glory in the day, but do you know there are activities that opened up a whole new side of our sunny island when the sun comes down? If you’re not one to hit the clubs, check out these 10 other activities you can do at night.

1. Night Safari

Do you know Singapore’s Night Safari is the world’s first nocturnal zoo? Housing more than 2,500 animals, the Night Safari showcases their animals through lighting that resembles moonlight. Much like the Singapore Zoo, animals at the Night Safari are separated from visitors with natural barriers. To take in the sights, choose between taking a tram and walking the trails.

4. Prawning

Looking for an activity that could accommodate more than three people? Try out prawning at Hai Bin Prawning, which is opened the entire day, every day. The prawn pond is refilled regularly, so there is no need to worry even if you’re a newbie; you’re bound to catch something! Plus, wouldn’t it be sweet to barbeque your own catch at the end of the night?

With Singapore’s hot and humid weather, we understand what a put-off taking a stroll in a park would be. So we’re suggesting you do it at night! Gardens by the Bay easily reflects Singapore’s reputation as the premier tropical Garden City. The conservatories and skyway closes at 9PM, but the Outdoor Gardens is opened all the way until 2AM. Fancy a late-night picnic? Now you know where to go.
